Advice from someone who isn't selling the job

Most plumbing advice comes attached to an invoice. Ours does not. A consultant reviews the problem, the plans or the bids and tells you what is actually needed, what it should cost and what to watch for.

A contractor's estimate

  • Written by the company that profits from the job
  • Scope sized to what they sell and install
  • Hard to compare against other bids line by line
  • "Today only" pricing and urgency

Yeti Plumbing Consultant

  • Independent: we never sell or install the work
  • Scope matched to the actual problem, with evidence
  • Fair-price range from a planning review
  • Written findings you can hand to any contractor

Good to know

How much does a plumbing consultant cost?

Typical planning fees: a written second opinion $195–$450, an on-site home assessment $395–$795, remodel consulting $650–$2,500, and commercial takeoffs from about $650 per bid package. Industrial work is scoped per project. You get a written proposal before any work starts.

Do you install or repair plumbing?

No. That is the point. We do not sell or install the work, so the recommendation is not shaped by what we would make on the job.

Are you licensed?

Consulting is led by a Texas Responsible Master Plumber. Plumbing licenses in Texas are issued by the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners. Verify any license at tsbpe.texas.gov. A license number for this practice is not published on this site until it is confirmed.

What areas do you serve?

Central Texas and the San Antonio area, Georgetown to Seguin and the Hill Country edge. Virtual reviews are available anywhere in Texas.

How fast can I get a second opinion?

Most remote quote reviews are delivered in writing within 48 hours of receiving the bid, photos and any video.

How do virtual reviews work?

You send the quote, photos, videos and reports. We review them, ask follow-ups if needed, and send a written summary with a verdict, a fair-price range and questions for your contractor.

Can you help my company bid a commercial project?

Yes. Quantity takeoffs, bid leveling, scope reviews and value engineering for GCs, subcontractors, owners and developers.

What is a slab leak?

A leak in a water or drain line under the concrete slab. In Central Texas expansive clay, movement breaks copper and older materials. Options are spot repair, reroute or a full repipe.
